What steps should I take to get going, if I'm not sure how much help I need?
We understand that, if you came here because you're having trouble growing your Sales, you have a lot of questions. But you also don't want to make any major commitments.
If you follow these instructions, you may be able to solve your problem without needing any more help from us or anyone else. And if not, it will make it easier (and a lot less expensive) for us (or anyone else) to help you achieve your sales goals.
- Buy the book. This registers you on the site and gives you access to the materials and tools. Then read the book, watch the videos, or listen to the audio. This will give you a framework for understanding exactly what it takes to grow your sales. (It's not necessarily simple - because if it were, everyone would be rich. But it usually works.)
- If you still need help, tell us about your goals and challenges here. (We can't help you if we don't know what you're trying to do.) Based on your input, we can usually figure out what's reasonable to accomplish - potentially on your own. And that may be all you need from us.
- If you still need help, we'll show you how to use the Go-to-Market Planning Tools. This includes:
- Writing some Case Histories and/or Application Descriptions
- Doing your Needs Analysis
- Doing your Competitive Analysis
- Developing your Scripts, Positioning and Content
- Building your Go-to-Market Strategy
Again, we can do this together, or you can try to do it on your own.
- If you still need help, we're available to work with you in any of the following ways, including:
- On a Consulting basis
- We can teach/coach you (and your team) on what to do
- We can do some of the work, and you do some of the work
- We can do all of the work. (Note: We will NOT close sales for you).
- Or we can develop the program, and move it to your in-house shop as needed.
Whatever method you choose, our goal is always to help you go from "where you are" to "where you want to be" with respect to sales, market share and profitability.
