If you do what the platforms tell you to do, you will get what the platforms decide you should get.
Sure, the platforms give you access to your market. But they also make you pay a price for that access. And often it's so high as to make it uneconomic.
But that's not the worst part.
Even if you're able to go viral, they can pull the plug anytime they want. And they will, too.
